If you want to complain about play calling that's one thing, but young experienced players is a stretch to say the least. I don't think Jimbo was playing his SR's and JR's on the kickoff team all year to just go recruit some 8th and 9th grade kids to play in the biggest game up till that point in the season. I'm sure he used the same kids that had been efective in that roll the rest of the year.

I've not seen any returned. I've seen 4 of their games. I don't think he's putting the worst he has out there. If he had better, I'd say they'd be out there.

Anyway back to what the thread was supposed to be about:
I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Clintwood bring the state title back to SWVA. Gone are the WCs and Franklins. The Wave have a solid defense, a deep stable of capable ballcarriers, and the best kicking game in the state. They also have enough size and speed to get up and down the field.

IMO, I have no idea how they'll do if they get to the title game. From trying to compare scores of Bath Co. with teams that I know a little about, Clintwood should win. I know nothing about any of the east coast teams, so if they beat Bath this week the 15-30 picks of the score on here would be kind of pointless and stupid considering there are maybe enough people on here that could be counted on 1 hand that have seen those teams play. I hope they win because I hope they win every game they play, it'll be kind of hollow to me if they do win because it's not being done in D2. It feels like winning the JV title. I didn't want them to drop. It's not that I don't want them to play in D1, I'd just be happier if they wouldn't have to play teams like St. Paul, Twin Springs, or Twin Valley in the playoffs to get there. If the PV's and Honaker's of the world who have 500 students or less were D1, it'd mean a lot more to me.

and by the way robbins was not thrown out .... in the officials report they just reported a personal foul ....

Unfortunately, it brings out a couple more. Folks like starbuck, UTVols2, and a couple more at least let you know they're not all morons.
